Dr. Stuti Banerjee is a Senior Research Fellow at the Indian Council of World Affairs, New Delhi. At the Council, Dr. Banerjee is engaged in research on domestic and foreign policy of the United States and America’s engagements with India. In addition, she also writes analytical articles on the political developments in the Latin America and the Caribbean region and is building her expertise on understanding the geopolitical importance of the Polar Regions. In her professional capacity, Dr. Banerjee has published papers in journals of repute and contributed chapters to edited books such as The US’ Indo Pacific Strategy and the Role of India in The Great Game in the Indo-Pacific: Pivot to India (edited) and India and Latin America: Partners in Development in India’s Development Partnership: Expanding Vistas (edited). She had co-authored two monographs on the Arctic titled The Changing Arctic and India’s Strategy for the Circumpolar North (CAPS) and Breaking the Ice: Russia and the United States in the Arctic (ICWA).
Dr. Banerjee received her Ph.D from Centre for American, Canadian and Latin American Studies, School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi.
