Commodore S Muthu Krishnan is presently serving in the Indian Navy and has put in close to 27 years of commissioned service. He is a Navigation and Direction Specialist and has commanded 03 warships. He is presently posted as Dean, Faculty of Studies at the Naval War College (NWC), Goa and tenants the additional appointment of DS (Arctic Studies) at the Centre of Arctic Studies (CAS), NWC. He is an alumnus of Defence Services Staff College (DSSC), Wellington and Army War College (AWC), Mhow. He is presently pursuing his PhD in Arctic studies from the Mumbai University. He has spoken at many Arctic forums and has been the guide to many researchers on Arctic Matters.
